Storytime Preview

This week at Storytime...

First up is Ancient Thunder by Leo Yerxa, an Ojibway artist.  He uses a painting technique that makes his illustrations appear to be leather shirts with images that tell the story of wild horses and their relationships with Native Americans.  This beautiful book will help us learn about nature and our connection to it.

Next up is the more lighthearted Splat the Cat by Rob Scotton.  Our affinity for black cats continues with this picture book series, the first of which teaches us what happens when you take your pet mouse to Cat School.

Lastly, Olivia by Ian Falconer.  Olivia's dramatic nature and unique sense of self make her the perfect star of a read-aloud picture book!  We'll cover all of her artistic inclinations in just one day!

Storytime is Thursday at 3:00 p.m. and Saturday at 10:30 a.m.  Titles are subject to change.
